One of my favorite things about owning my own business

While owning a small business comes with many obstacles (including financial), there are so many great things that also comes with it. One of my favorites is having the blessing of my dad coming to work with me two days a week. It is usually for about 4 hours with one of those hours being his lunch break. Growing up in a family of 5 kids, it was rare to get any one-on-one time with our parents. My dad was an engineer at Boeing and worked a lot to support his large family.

Dad is a happy man that cherishes everything that comes his way. He loves spending time visiting with customers and we both cherish the great conversations that we have with each other while he is at the store. He also helps out with special events and rarely misses sitting out in front of my store to watch a car cruise or parade. Life is short, it's so special to get this special time with my dad. I am so grateful!
